Scheme Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

Government of Maharashtra, Rural Development and Water Resources Department Government Decision No. 2010\/P.No.62\/P NRA-6, dated 16 September 2010, 31 October 2015 and 25 January 2018<\/p>\n

Works to be Carried Out Under The Scheme:<\/strong><\/p>\n

To maintain and regulate land management, burial\/burial systems in rural areas. For this, the following works are expected to be carried out on the graveyards in the hands of the soil:<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Cremation\/Burial Ground Editing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Platform construction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Construction of sheds<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Construction of access road<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Secure the area by building fencing or walls as required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Electric cremation \/ modified cremation system as required<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Water facility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Cremation Ghat \/ River Ghat Construction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Land leveling and flooring<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Memorial Garden<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Gram Panchayat Building Related Works :<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Construction of new Gram Panchayat building and internal facilities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Reconstruction\/expansion of old building<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Plantation, improvement, fencing of the area and other ancillary works in the area<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Public Facilities And Development Works :<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n

        To develop a weekly market center within the limits of the Gram Panchayat.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Cleaning and beautification of village ponds<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Solid waste management<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Underground sewer connection<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Installation of solar powered double hand pumps and water purification (RO) system on existing wells within the Gram Panchayat limits<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Roads under Jan Suvidha Yojana:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • \n

          Internal roads in the village<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Construction of a road from one slum\/shack to another slum\/shack<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Conditions\/Eligibility For Participation in The Scheme :<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. \n

            Administrative approval should be obtained for every work after the consent of the Gram Sabha.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          2. \n

            Technical approval should be obtained from the competent authority.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          3. \n

            Budget and plan maps are a must.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          4. \n

            Maintenance and repairs \u2013 to be done by the Gram Panchayat and a Gram Panchayat resolution is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          5. \n

            The selection of works will be made by the District Planning Committee.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          6. \n

            A 7\/12 slope or site copy of the area to be worked on.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          7. \n

            Certificate that the work submitted is not proposed or approved under any other scheme.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          8. \n

            Site map of the proposed site.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          9. \n
