5% untied fund for Gram Panchayats in Scheduled Areas of the State<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Gram Sabha has been given the independent right to decide the use of the funds. For this, the Gram Sabha should prepare an annual plan of the restricted funds and approve it in the Gram Sabha. While preparing the plan, it is necessary to consider the people of each village\/pada falling within the limits of the Gram Panchayat. Later, the plan is made consistent in the Gram Sabha with the consent of all.<\/p>\n

a) Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Gram Panchayat offices, health centers, Anganwadis, schools, cemeteries, Godavans, internal village roads and similar infrastructure facilities in the relevant PESA villages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    b) Implementation of Forest Rights Act and PESA Act<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Providing training for tribals for their livelihood through training\/guidance centers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Village development or fishing business \/ purchasing fish seeds<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Developing common land<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Management of subordinate water resources<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Developing shared natural resources and shared assets<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      c) Health, Sanitation, Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Construction of public toilets<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Maintaining cleanliness in the village<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Construction and maintenance of drains for waste management<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Clean drinking water supply<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        d) Environment and others (Afforestation, Wildlife Conservation, Water Conservation, Forest Floor, Wildlife Tourism and Forest Livelihoods)<\/strong><\/p>\n

          The selection of the work by the Gram Sabha means that the work is considered as the administrative approval of the Gram Sabha. Separate technical approval is not required for works worth less than Rs. 3 lakh. The process of obtaining technical approval for works worth more than Rs. 3 lakh will be done as per Section-4(6).<\/p>\n

            Also, regarding the expenditure on PESA 5% fund, a notification has been issued as per the Government Decision of the Tribal Department dated 20\/02\/2016.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
