Type of Scheme<\/td>\nSubsidy up to Rs. 10,000\/- can be deposited in the beneficiary's bank account through DBT for distribution of Kanyadan materials for girls from poor families.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Purpose of The Scheme<\/td>\nPreventing child marriage. Also preventing malnutrition, infant mortality and maternal mortality.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Beneficiary<\/td>\n\u2013 Girls getting married after 18 years. \u2013 Boys getting married after 21 years.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Nature of Benefit<\/td>\nDepositing Rs. 10,000\/- in the bank account of the concerned beneficiary.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Eligibility Criteria<\/td>\n\u2013 Girls from poor families or girls from families with annual income up to Rs. 1,20,000\/-. \u2013 Marriageable age of girl is 18 years, boy is 21 years. \u2013 Girl must have passed 10th. \u2013 Marriage period between 1 April 2024 and February 2025. \u2013 Recommendation of Gram Panchayat is required while submitting application for girls from Gram Panchayat of Palghar district.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Required Documents<\/td>\nCompleted application form, marriage certificate, all attached documents, Aadhar card, local resident proof (e.g. ration card), Poverty Line Number and Certificate or Income Certificate from Tehsildar, copies of Gram Sabha resolution if in tribal area, copies of bank passbook.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Method of Application<\/td>\nThe fully filled application form should be submitted to the Child Development Project Officer through the Anganwadi Worker.
