      Plan Implementation Process :<\/strong><\/p>\n

        As per the Groundwater Act, the Groundwater Survey and Development Agency studies the groundwater levels in monsoon and observation wells and prepares a report on potential water shortages.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        This report is submitted to the Collector, who processes the declaration of a potential water scarcity area as per the government decision (3 February 1999, 27 February 2008, 25 October 2008).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        All Gram Panchayats study the situation in the villages and determine whether there is water scarcity or not, and also prepare resolutions proposing measures to alleviate water scarcity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        The Rural Water Supply Department prepares the time frame, measures and plans for each village as per the resolution at the district level.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        The plan for potential water shortage is approved by the people (Ma.) and approved by the Collector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        The villages included in the scheme are surveyed by a geologist.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        After receiving administrative approval from the Collector, the measures are implemented.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
