Objective: Women need to rest during childbirth. This scheme was implemented so that all women belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and BPL holders should not have to go to work immediately after childbirth and special care should be taken of the baby during this period.
Scheme Terms and Eligibility
All women belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and BPL in the district under the Human Development Mission.
The benefit will be provided to pregnant women of the second and subsequent batches.
