Subject: Special grant for urban facilities for large Gram Panchayats.
The following additional facilities are required under this scheme:
Development of the internal market
Facilitation of public affairs
Gardening, horticulture
Practice Center
Construction of village roads
Construction of underground drains for sludge and water management
Conditions/Eligibility For Participation in The Scheme :
Under this scheme, the Gram Panchayat should prepare a plan and get the administrative approval of the Gram Sabha. After that, the Chief Executive Officer should seek its approval from the Gram Panchayat.
Technical approval should be obtained from the competent authority.
Budget and plan maps required.
Maintenance and repair – Resolution from Gram Panchayat required.
The District Planning Board will have the authority to determine the priority ranking of Gram Panchayats with a population of more than 5000 in the district and Gram Panchayats participating in the Environmentally Balanced Sustainably Developed Village Scheme.
A 7/12 slope or site copy of the area to be worked on.
Certificate that the work submitted is not proposed or approved under any other scheme.

The proposal should be submitted to the Gram Panchayat along with the recommendation of the Group Development Officer and sent to the Department, Zilla Parishad, Palghar.
