Pension Branch: To examine and sanction the cases of retired or otherwise retired employees who have completed 58 years in Class III and 60 years in Class IV, as per Maharashtra State Civil Services (Retirement) Rules, 1982, to issue orders for sanction of pension, to handle revised pension cases.
There is a delay in submitting pension and pension related cases at the level of Head of Department and Block Development Officer. In order to avoid delay in sanction of pension and pension benefits to pensioners and family pensioners and to resolve the cases at the earliest, the Finance Department has started a process from July 2021.
