About The Scheme

Objective of the scheme: To improve the living standards of Scheduled Caste farmers in the district, increase their income and make them self-reliant.

Beneficiary

The following conditions must be met to benefit from the scheme :

  1. The beneficiary should be a Scheduled Caste or Neo-Buddhist farmer.

  2. The beneficiary should have a caste certificate issued by the competent authority.

  3. The farmer's name should be in the 7/12 certificate or 8-A extract.

  4. The beneficiary should have an Aadhaar card.

  5. The beneficiary should have a bank account and it should be linked to the Aadhaar card.

  6. Priority will be given to beneficiaries below the poverty line.

  7. The annual income limit (Rs. 1,50,000/-) has been abolished.

  8. The beneficiary farmer should have a minimum of 0.40 hectare and a maximum of 6 hectares of agricultural land.

    • If the combined land of two or more beneficiaries is at least 0.40 hectare, they can sign an agreement and avail the benefits of the scheme.

    • The 6 hectare ceiling does not apply to beneficiaries below the poverty line.

  9. Once the full benefit of the scheme is availed, the benefit will not be available to a beneficiary or family for the next five years.

    • If the beneficiary has received benefits from other similar agricultural development schemes or SCA of the Central Government or scheme under Article 275 (A), then the benefit of the scheme will not be available.

    • The names of the beneficiaries will be recorded in the 7/12 extract.
