Taluka-level workshop under the Chief Minister's Samrudd Panchayat Raj Abhiyan concluded with enthusiasm

A taluka-level workshop under the Chief Minister's Samriddhi Panchayat Raj Abhiyan was organized by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Zilla Parishad Palghar and Panchayat Samiti Mokhada at Raghoji Bhangre Hall, Panchayat Samiti Mokhada on 11 September 2025 with great enthusiasm. 

The workshop was chaired by Akshay Pagar, Administrator and Group Development Officer of Panchayat Samiti Mokhada. On this occasion, Shri. Prakash Nikam (Former Zilla Parishad President, Palghar), Shri. Pradeep Wagh (Honorable Deputy Chairman, P. S. Mokhada), Shri. Milind Jhole, Shri. Santosh Chothe, Shri. Sunil Patil (Extension Officer Gram Panchayat), as well as Shri. Prasad Patil (Director, Swadesh Foundation), all the account heads/employees etc. were present on the platform.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp. After that, Group Development Officer Akshay Pagar gave detailed guidance on the background of the campaign, objectives, various components, duration and the role of the Gram Panchayat and related agencies. The Extension Officer informed the Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat employees, Employment Service Officers and Gram Panchayat Center Drivers about how to actually implement the campaign.

After this, Prasad Patil, Director of Swadesh Foundation, gave information about the activities started by the organization for rural development and highlighted the importance of cooperation of social organizations in the rural development process. All the Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, members, Gram Panchayat Officers, PESA Mobilizers, Village Employment Sevaks as well as officers and employees of Panchayat Samiti of the taluka were present in large numbers for this workshop. The attendees expressed satisfaction that the workshop provided direction for more effective implementation of the Mukhyamantri Samriddhi Panchayat Raj Abhiyan at the taluka level.
