As per the Rural Development Department Government Decision dated 21.11.2016, Gram Panchayats in 8 talukas of Palghar district have been selected as Taluka Beautiful Villages under the R. R. (Aba) Patil Sundar Gram Puraskar Yojana, and they are given an award amount of Rs. 10.00 lakh each. Also, out of the selected Taluka Beautiful Villages, the Gram Panchayats selected as District Level Beautiful Villages are given an award amount of Rs. 40.00 lakh.
From the year 2016-17 to 2019-20, 8 Gram Panchayats have been selected as Taluka Sundar Gram and have been given award money. The award money has been given to them after they have been selected as Gram.
R. R. (Aba) Patil Under the Sundar Gram Puraskar Yojana, works have been carried out in the Gram Panchayats awarded as per the government decision dated 21.11.2016.
